Steven Chu, owner of Valley Prosthetics & Orthotics, is an American Board of Certification (ABC) Certified Practitioner in Prosthetics and Orthotics. With over 20 years of rehabilitation and patient care experience, Steven is able to utilize his broad base of knowledge and experience with each patient. Steven started VPO with the goal of providing his patients with the highest level of personal care and attention while offering access to the latest in prosthetic and orthotic technology. Steven’s focus is on personally attending to each patient’s individual needs.

Christopher Snyder, L/CPO

Christopher Snyder, L/CPO

Chris Snyder is a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist who started at Valley Prosthetics & Orthotics in June of 2012. While in high school, Chris developed an interest in the O&P profession. He graduated with a B.S. from Slippery Rock University and later from Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, with post baccalaureate certificates in both Orthotic and Prosthetic practitioner programs. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Rae Buhosky is a CPO who joined the VPO team in June of 2016. Rae returned to her Lehigh Valley roots after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with her Masters of Science in Prosthetics & Orthotics. While attending the University of Pittsburgh, she served as the president of the Orthotics & Prosthetic Student Organization, participated in an O&P service trip to Quito, Ecuador, and her thesis research focused on custom prosthetic liners. Before attending the University of Pittsburgh, Rae graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Dickinson College, where she was part of the women's lacrosse team and a resident assistant.

Jennifer Hutchens, Administrative Manager

Jennifer Hutchens, Administrative Manager

Jen Hutchens joined the VPO team in 2012. She has been in the medical field for over 12 years with previous experience in DME and O&P. She received her Associates degree from Northampton Community College with a major in Office Administration in 2010. More recently she became certified as an Orthotic and Prosthetic office specialist in order to continue to provide our patients with the best overall experience at VPO. She manages all administrative operations of the practice including insurance billing, medical records and patient satisfaction. Jen is very courteous and will always find the time to assist with making an appointment or trying to answer all insurance questions. With her eagerness to learn and dedication to her work, she always takes that extra step for patients and her co-workers.

Patricia Seidel, Administrative Assistant


Patty Seidel is the newest employee to join the VPO team. She is new to the O&P world but has been in the medical field for over 20 years. With a positive attitude and friendliness, she is always available to assist in making appointment, answering calls, and assisting our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting and spending time with her husband and dog Berta.
